GENERAL

Where is The Mill Event Venue located?

We’re in the heart of downtown Windsor, Colorado, surrounded by restaurants, parks, and the Windsor Lake; perfect for photos and guest convenience.

What types of events can I host at The Mill Event Venue?

Weddings, receptions, corporate meetings & retreats, galas, fundraisers, holiday parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, and celebrations of life.

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

Seated dinner and ceremony up to 150 guests; standing room up to 180 guests.

Is there on-site parking available?

Yes, there is on-site parking surrounding the building.

Do you provide tables, chairs, and linens?

Yes. Every event package includes our tables, chairs, and linens.

Is there a bridal house?

Yes, there is a bridal house which is completely separate from the venue. This allows for privacy and convenience.

Can I schedule a tour of the venue?

Yes, tours are by appointment only. Please reach out via email at: events@thewindsormill.com

Are there restrictions on décor or setup?

The only restrictions revolve around any decor or setup that could cause damage to the venue, and we do not allow open-flame candles.

How do we place a date on hold?

After a consultation, if requested, we’ll soft-hold your date for 7 days. A signed agreement + retainer will secure your date.

Do we need to provide insurance for our event?

No, we are completely insured.

FOOD

Can we choose our own caterer?

Yes! You can pick from our preferred caterers (recommended for service quality & insurance) or bring a licensed/insured caterer with prior approval.

Do you offer in-house catering options?

No, we do not. You will be required to coordinate your own food accommodations.

We have a caterer. Where will they prepare the food?

We have a catering prep-kitchen available with counter space and a tall hot-box.

BAR & ALCOHOL

Do you handle bar service?

Yes, you are required to use our full-service bar for any alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink purchases.

Do we have to supply our own bartenders?

No, we supply our own bartenders based on the guest count and bar package.

Can we bring in our own alcohol?

No outside beverages can be brought into the venue. Feel free to make special requests on certain drink accommodations.
